Ive driven through snow, mud, heavy rain, gravel, slush and dry pavement and have 0 complaints. Keep in mind this is within 200 miles of having them put on.

I have been doing some research on the Hankooks and have seen complaints of their becoming excessively loud when they start to wear.

Are you sure the complaints you are seeing are about this exact model tire? I thought this model tire was introduced in the U.S. mid-2015, so very few people would have enough mileage on them to make that judgement. In fact before I bought mine I could not find anyone that had put more than a few thousand miles on them, but I decided to go ahead with them anyway. Where did you see the complaints? Thanks.

Granite TH Build Date November 2013
All options except hood decal

Here is long term review thread with two different owners experiencing the same issue...

Let me know if I'm looking at a different tire.

Charles, well it does seem clear these tires have been around longer than 6 months! In addition to what you pointed out, I found 33 reviews on Tirerack's website. Most owners seem happy, but there are some exceptions. And like me, many of the reviewers have not had them very long, but there were several on Tirerack that did and were not complaining about noise. So I don't know what to make of the reviews. I already own them, so I guess all I can do is hope for the best :-) So far, so good!

I've had great success, in all kinds of terrain and weather with the Firestone Destinations. When they eventually wear out, I am not certain which direction I will go, but for the time being, I have not complaint with the Firestones. They have taken me over some pretty rocky terrain at Moab with no issues.

I appreciate the feedback on the Hankooks. Looking forward to more tire discussion!

Firestone/Cooper/Hankook tire recommendation

I find the firestone 235's destinations on a active drive 2 a great match and hard to beat tire rack reviews from so many users. Plus I like that Bridgestone owns firestones for there technology!!!
Edit that's the A/T line

The Cooper AT3 has gotten some great reviews. Like this one, and others http://expeditionportal.com/where-th...eets-the-road/

That being said I really like the performance of the OE Firestones.

I had hankook on my Wrangler and loved them. I rotated them and they were not noisy. When my firestones need replaced I'll get the hankooks again. They had triple sidewalks.
