Is Uconnect terrible, Pandora terrible on Uconnect or BOTH???

Ok, I have the free service of Uconnect as I just bought my 2016 KL to replace my totaled 2015 KL last week. The only thing I think is useful as far as the apps through Uconnect go is Pandora. I love Pandora. But man is it finicky! Or is it just me? I click the app and it says no account synced. I have synced/linked one. Or it says it is working and to try later or it says the app needs to be installed. Then it will randomly work. OR I will have to go to my phone, close the Uconnect app and then turn it back on and sometimes that helps. They want so much money for this when the free trial is over... are you KIDDING ME??? Anyone else having these issues?

I couldn't ever get the Uconnect to work. I gave up on it. Someone on here suggested I needed to get the app on my phone, but that didn't change a thing. If you figure it out, let me know.

Yup 2016 TH 8.5 uconnect w Sat/nav Pandora will launch and sometimes it won't. I have an Android phone which has the current version of uconnect.
In order to get to work, I have to turn off Bluetooth from phone, then click the app-which I'm already logged into-then click mobile apps. The apps seems to refresh at that point, after which I can enable Bluetooth on phone -the phone then auto pairs with unconnect and then I can launch Pandora @JeepCares- this is a common issue

I have a 2016 TH and will not be renewing the Uconnect software. If the heated seats and wheel weren't built into the 8.4, I would switch out the head unit as I did with the speakers. Just my thoughts. I miss a good center channel. Certain songs I loved to hear in the car just don't bring the same joy.

What shall we have? An '82 Margaux! Is it any good? Good....?, It will make you believe in God!

"What shall we have first?"
" an '82 Margaux"
"Is it any good?"
"..Good. It is so good, you'll believe in God!"

And you have to do all that while driving... Thanks for the safety first mentality, Uconnect!

Yeah like somehow it's difficult to build in seat senors like they do with airbags to determine if someone is sitting so THE PASSANGER CAN PUT THE ADDRESS INTO SAT/NAV instead of disabling it as the voice prompts don't always work.

Yes, uConnect seems very finicky all around. I've had my '16 limited with 8.4av for 2 weeks and already disapointed with this system. I have trouble connecting my iPod through USB...works fine then I run into a store and come back 5 min later and it's "Connect Device." System seems to 'stutter' when switching between devices or screens - like it needs 30 seconds to catch up.
Pandora gave me your same issues, so I just gave up and will stream through my phone instead.

MOPAR really needs to update this software.

In the past, I have had several apps which put a special message up saying that the Pandora App interferes with their operation. PowerAmp (a music player) was one of them. So I would make sure that there is absolutely nothing else using bluetooth (like the UCONNECT phone) when you use pandora.

I have a 2015, and on the rare occasion I use Pandora via Uconnect, I haven't had any options.

Open the Uconnect App on your phone, click the "Via Mobile" button.
Wait for the head unit to be "ready"
Click Pandora on the Head Unit.
Listen.

It's not overly difficult, I haven't had any issues like you guys are describing.

Note, you don't need a Pandora App on your phone, you just need an account and the Uconnect App.

As a new TH owner, is uConnect using a stream from the phone to access Pandora? I have to assume it is and that the Pandora app is a front end for the service off the phone...

Thanks..
