HID on Trailhawk for 2017?

While I love my 2014 Trailhawk for many reasons, the headlights are an issue as many have mentioned. Frankly, they are just terrible whether on low or high, certainly the worst on any vehicle I've owned for over 30 years. Does anyone know if the 2017's will have HID's?

I'm don't want to add the XenonDepot one's that are mentioned a lot here. Complicated for a guy like me and no shop I've come across wants to deal with it.

Thanks.

The upgrade really isn't hard... it just looks complicated...

All info I've seen points towards HID's being available on the 2017 TH

Buy the Xenondirect HID kit...I promise you won't regret it. Easy install.

Yeah I think they do - a bit more black paint required...

Cheers, Dave.

This is great to know Pete. I assume they would be like the HID's on the Limited? Anyone have any experience with them? Do they have the same "cut off" as the current Trailhawk lights that almost draws a line across the top (does that make any sense).

And when are the 2017's arriving? I'm not able to find much info. Really have enjoyed my Trailhawk otherwise.

2017's are on their way to the dealers as we speak, somebody can corret me if I am wrong but, HID's are standard for at least the TH, Limited and Overland for 2017.

Not sure about the Latitude, definitely not the Sport but maybe the Sport Altitude if that carries over for 2017.
