Mystery solved. The website is in error / poorly worded. Before reaching that conclusion, my sales manager said the mall crawler theory "could be legit given the things I've seen from Jeep over the years." That upped the tension.
When I went by to see him tonight, I mentioned I had called two dealers that have L Plus units in stock and asked if someone could physically look underneath for skid plates. He said with a VIN he could view the build sheet details in his system. I had two L Plus window stickers (and VINs) saved to my phone, so a few minutes later I was looking at their build sheet codes. Everything is there that should be. A Trailhawk is still a Trailhawk. Whew.
About that time, one of the out of town dealers called back confirming his L Plus had skid plates and Active Drive Lock.
For some reason, my order last week was not fully submitted. I didn't ask why. I just took it as a last minute chance to change colors. I jumped ship from Bright White to Light Brownstone. It was basically a toss up when I picked white last week.
