I would be so embarrassed if I was RRO. I will make sure that I get everything I want and more from them. Full refund almost isn't even enough

Listen, from someone who has worked VERY closely with RRO on a few projects now you'll get as far as your attitude takes you. Calling them yelling and demanding things isn't going to work. If you are upset about your order that's fine and understandable. I was in the same situation almost two years ago on this forum with them. Instead I calmly spoke to them about how the situation could be resolved and am now a tester for them. My case was a bit more extreme as I had decided to drive the 1200 miles to their shop and camp in the parking lot for a week while they made a new bumper for the tech package. Sorry, what I'm getting at is be respectful and professional. Ask to speak to Matt. He is the man in charge other than the owner. They are actually a very small shop consisting of only a handful of people, so don't expect to be given the world. And if they promise to sent out new product, expect it to take forever to get to you. It will not happen overnight.

Here is a picture of every mounting point. None of them were done correctly

I'm fired up about it, it's unacceptable. I will call them and be reasonable but I will not allow them to win the battle.

Now I understand you are upset. Take a day or two to calm down and think the situation through and what you would like to walk away from the situation with. New product if you aren't going a different route, obvious. Possible repairs to the Cherokee I don't think is unreasonable however I feel it's unlikely you'll get anywhere there since you saw they weren't molded to the roof properly and still tried to install them.

In my case with Gobi when I went to install the landing pads to the factory locations I followed the instructions as so and still broke a stud. It happens, actually it has happened quite a few times on this forum.

I wish you the best of luck. And being someone would really enjoys RROs products and their staff I wish you the best and a positive outcome.

Thanks @Len1304 I appreciate the input. I have started to calm down about it already, I can't talk to them until Monday anyway. I won't make a scene I will just explain the issue and figure out what needs to be done. I was so excited about these rails and crossbars. They're badass, I love the look of them, but it was definitely a disappointment. Hopefully we can get all of this figured out pretty easily

ON the web site for RRO there is a email address that goes to the owner just email him the pics and tell him what happened and he fix it thats what I had to do with my bull ball was not made right but I had It Line-X and they would not pay me back for the Line-X but end up giving me the bullbar for free sense they took 8 weeks to send a replacement one after it took the 12 weeks to send the first one and the sliders

I've been using the Marson tool shown in the first picture for quite a few years and it definitely makes installation easy. I also had a situation where the head of the Marson would not fit. I came up with the assembled setup shown in the second picture and disassembled in the third picture. Does the job and is very inexpensive. You can use to install a new rivet nut or to tighten up/compress an existing one.You will need a bolt long enough for your chosen parts matched to the threads of the rivet nut to be installed. The bronze bushing is something from the parts box and serves as a free spinning spacer to keep the wrenches apart. The nut and lock washer need to be big enough to freely slide over the bolt. Put all of the parts together and tension the bolt to get an initial bite with the lock washer before inserting into the installation location. Hold the nut with one wrench to keep it and the rivet nut from turning. Tighten the bolt with another wrench to compress the rivet nut. This takes a long time compared to the Marson, but a whole lot cheaper. After four rivet nut installations, you can see how much the lock washer bit into the nut. Bites even deeper into the soft aluminum of the rivet nut. If you're going to do more than a few of these, you will need to replace the lock washer as it gets distorted with each use.

I have the RRO bumper / skid plate and step rails , had issues with both products , bolts too short for the bumper and rust on the sliders after a few weeks . Didn't bother contacting RRO as I guessed it would be a long drawn out process to get anywhere with them . I was sort of pre warned about these QC issues , so more or less expected problems , but hoping I would be the lucky one .
Plus the complications of living in Canada would make it worse I thought .

Just bit the bullet and sorted the issues out myself , less stress on my part and I have a motto I use in life all the time " don't get mad , get even "
Therefore they won't be receiving any more of my money , and anyone who asks about them , I'll tell them exactly how I feel about this company .

So who ends up losing in the long run ? Eventually they'll get 100's / 1000's of ex customers like me . A bad rep travels far further than a good one .

I appreciate the reply but I don't think anyone has had the issue of one of their products literally not even coming close to fitting.
