Gearing up

So it's 60 degrees today in New Jersey. Tomorrow is an expected foot of wet snow. What's the consensus on this and how are you guys preparing for the commute?

This will be the first time I have the mud terrains in this weather, so I am excited to see how they perform.

I've got my Maxtracks ready and tow straps to help anyone in the snow banks.

Gearing up

Remember, if you tug on anyone, do it from a hook since they don't have an official max rating lol. #loophole

Crazy weather...yesterday had a record high of 60° and tonight into the 20's. The snow is supposed to be a little South of us...heading your way

We've had little snow storms all this winter that end in rain. Yesterday finally got 8" of dry snow that only ended in a slight coating of sleet. Tomorrow it's going to snow solid for 12 hours (8am-8pm) and we're slated for about 14" at last report.

I have offered help to 3 people off the road or stuck this winter and no one (young people who had 'called friends') accepted help. I don't drive around looking for stuck vehicles but I will not drive past one. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Luckily Friday is supposed to be nice (although only 12 degrees and blowing 30) because I need to meet an 18 wheeler delivering a package of appliances for a customers remodel with my trailer because the truck can't get off the main road into the neighborhood to deliver.

expect to have a comparatively small amount of traction on smooth packed snow or ice.

They will do fine on deep stuff.
