Doesn't the TH come with a full size Firestone tire regardless of if you get the tow package?

Yes the 4wd versions get a 5th wheel with a matching spare tyre. They just neglect to inform you it's on a speed limited steel rim..

Replaced mine with another matching rim but discovered the stupid securing screw in the middle will scratch the **** out the lovely new rim.

Fix : the threaded post in the middle can be unscrewed from the floor, think it was around 4 or 5mm hex head on top.of it once the handed is removed. Turn it upside down and screw the handle on hard to lock it onto the inbuilt step on threaded bar that normally locks up against the floor mount. Reinstall wheel without damaging the spike up the middle and then insert it through the wheel and screw into the floor.

Sorry I do have some pics somewhere just can't find them right now!

Basically just pull the spare out and it leaves the silver threaded bar that holds the wheel attached to the floor. The top of it has a very small bolt head of around 4mm from memory. Unscrew the the threaded bar from the floor, turn it upside down and screw the handle onto what was the bottom of the threaded bar and lock it up tight. Then you have the threaded bar in you hand with a handle on it. Put the wheel back in (now nice and easy as the threaded bar is not in the way), put the jack back in and then holding the handle place the threaded bar through the wheel and screw it into the floor.

Yes, they do fit. I have a 5th stock Trailhawk rim, with 245/75/17 tire on it, and it fits in the wheel well fine.
