Actually that's a good point. Mine has alloy rivets holding it on at the bottom outer corners. So no way could it be simply or quickly removed!

After the Aussie lift and BFG KO2 tires, I got an extra 2.5" clearance at the engine skid plate and an increase in the approach and departure angles, 39° each.

There are just too many different types of fasteners and overall I just don't see that much difference in any angle of approach sans plastic guards. If you are going to scrap it. Scrap it. Better the plastic take the punishment than any metal are below the bumper.
Blue Ox and Roadmaster have done a nice write-up on front end disassembly. I've been modifying mine piece by piece while I wait for Exp-One to build a new bumper.

Yikes. It would certainly be nice to see a solution for TH/non-TH models to have a more offroad worthy approach angle bumper kit.

Maybe the KL needs to sit on the market a bit more. I'd definitely buy one given the option.

Going down to Moab end of April for more "modifications", on Golden Spike and Gold Bar Rim. Look out golden crack! ??

I don't think it's so much that it needs more time on the market. I think its more that people need to see what these things can do so that aftermarket demand goes up. They'll build it if they believe they can sell enough of them.

What gets me is I went to Quadratec's site and the have all kinds of mods for the new renegade but nothing for our Cherokees.

I would think the 30 Degree angle would work if you had both front tires on a 30 Degree ramp at he same time so it didnt lean one way. I bet thats how they get that Spec.

That's a fair statement.

You heard the man, get out there and show the world what these Cherokees can do!
