Finally Like a Swiss Clock

After all the warranty work, the new transaxle, last week the new suspension all around, I must say my Jeep is finally like new, mechanically that is. No rattles, no rough rides, no suspension creeks, no kidney loss over bumps. It only took 57,780 miles to get there! She won't spread her wings far again for another two months, but I do have a few hundred or so mile trips for work coming up.

If only it came this way from the factory

JW Speaker fog lights. Blue Ridge Overland Gear panels and bags. Pelican tool box loaded! Bubba Rope and Gators too. Much more....

Trailer: Custom built Montrose aluminum 4.5'Wx6'Lx3'H off-road utility with 3,500 lb Dexter torsion axle. Known as the Zombie Escape Trailer.

sorry if I missed previous posts on this, why (what) did you have suspension work done? was it warranty work too, or just the transaxle?

At about 23k I had the transaxle replaced. I did not have 2nd gear and towing was rough. It was making noises. My suspension was tired and had that done under my Lifetime Warranty. Driveshaft was after a month or so of ownership. It was making noises. Same with the belt tensioner.

Ugh. Not good. Glad they have fixed things right now. Knock on wood somewhere.

Does it run like this?

We got this in 2006 when we visited the Black Forest in Germany for our 20th Anniversary. It is still "running like a Swiss (German) clock"

We have a similar one. Just standard maintenance and it's worked great for 40+ years.
