Maybe I just have a good dealership near me... I took mine in thinking it wasn't serious at all. Just to "check it out".
After keeping it a day, then another so the right "tech" could look at it, they said they would replace the whole transmission. Without prompting from me.
Now, it took them almost 3 weeks to do it... but I'm happy as can be now. And it's much smoother than it was.
But in my mind, that's the way all dealers should be. You're the customer. You're not satisfied. If they can fix it and make you happy, with Jeep footing the bill (under warranty), why wouldn't they just do it?
