Have been in touch with @JeepCares?

Maybe they can intervene between you and the dealership and get you some resolution...

Suggestions??
Shifting and Jerking is NOT normal. Suggest you then go out with a new Cherokee at the dealer and compare. I am sure they have a test drive vehicle.

Yes I have and they helped out as much as they can since I am in Canada they can only do so much! Very greatful for what they did do.

Already suggested that but was told the 2014 and 2016/17 can't be compared because they are different vehicles and drive different.

That is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard!!

The Cherokee for 2014 is built on the same platform, with the same components (generally) and the same engines and transmissions as the 2015, 2016, 2017 vehicles.

You must find another servicing dealership...

I also think you should let FCA know what your dealership is telling you. Even they would agree that this statement is rubbish.

Actually every time I've phoned the FCA and mentioned that they say the same thing pretty much. Can't compare vehicles of different years.

Got my jeep back today they updated the rear axle and transmission shift enchantment (newer version). Will drive it for acouple days and bring back till I get the fix not a bandaid.

They're not different vehicles. Same engine, same model transmission. Ask what's different about them, mechanically.

Bull is all I can say! The only thing different in the power train is that FCA started using a new hardware equipped transmissions in order to resolve a "durability" issue.
Operationally there is no difference between the two. I have a 2014 and it shifts perfect! My sister has a 2015 and it shifts perfect. The dealer does not want to solve your problem so they are not doing their job believe it or not. If they were your 2014 would be shifting perfect.
The dealer can do alot for you as they have to make the determinination on replacement. So please get over the feeling that they are doing the best they can for you. They are not!
Once again you should not not sujected to that kind of shifting. The transmission needs to be replaced while under warranty. I bet after warranty they will tell you it needs to be replaced.
Not sure about Canada's consumer protection and how its set up but I would start the complaints rolling. This dealer is not your friend!

Going back to dealership for hopefully a real fix not a Bandaid. Been looking into CamVap which is pretty much the lemon law in Canada.

Maybe I just have a good dealership near me... I took mine in thinking it wasn't serious at all. Just to "check it out".
After keeping it a day, then another so the right "tech" could look at it, they said they would replace the whole transmission. Without prompting from me.

Now, it took them almost 3 weeks to do it... but I'm happy as can be now. And it's much smoother than it was.

But in my mind, that's the way all dealers should be. You're the customer. You're not satisfied. If they can fix it and make you happy, with Jeep footing the bill (under warranty), why wouldn't they just do it?

Dealership said my 2014 runs perfectly fine and I still can't compare to the newer models. FCA Canada is uneducated on the matter compared to USA I need help and suggestions. They won't do anymore because they say it's normal and no codes come up.
