Okay, here is a question for you fellow owners. Does your XM do what I described above? Jeep contacted me back and said this:
My Uconnect colleague was able to provide some additional information today. He advised on our newer systems the SXM Favorites option will go away once you select a song so he advised that it is operating as designed. My colleague also had questions regarding the delay when the button pops up, is it when you just started the vehicle?

Thank you for the response. The delay occurs during startup and operation. I obviously do not blame you, but I would like to have it back the way it was before the update. Sometimes a better song comes on haha! I have dug through the options list on the radio and cannot find a way to change the Favorites display rate.
What is really odd about the way Favorites works on XM now is that say I pick a song. That song has just started. So I listen for the 3 to 5 minutes to that song. Once it ends and another begins, it will be 1 to 2 minutes minimum before the Favorites pops back up. When I open it and click another song, it may be half way over. The delay is very long.
Is there a way for me to have the old software pushed to my Jeep? It worked very well the way it was.
Unfortunately we don't recommend rolling back your Uconnect system's software and are unable to assist with that process. Since the "Favorites" feature is from Sirius XM I would recommend reaching out to their customer support team by calling (866) 635-5027. They may be able to provide further feedback and assistance, I apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

I am pretty sure this is not an XM issue. This is a FCA software issue. On the ride home tonight, I tired something else. I listed to a song from my Favorites. When I selected the song, the Favorites button went away. The song was not over and I selected another channel. A minute or two later, I went back to the first channel with the song I liked. It was over and into another song. Still, no Favorite button. It was another few minutes before it popped up. Do any of you have this issue? I am considering taking my Jeep into the dealer to address this, because I don't pay the HIGH annual fee for XM to have the radio choose when I get to listen to songs I like.
