As you can see this is my first post but have done a lot of reading and this place has a wealth of information. I'm picking up my new to me 2015 trailhawk tomorrow. It's only has the six speaker system and I'm wondering if anyone has swapped out the original's for 6.5"s. The reason why I'm asking is I have 2- 6.5 RF's and 2- 6.5 infinity speakers that I don't want to let collect dust. Thanks for any help and great site you have here.

Well I picked her up today and left my Santa Fe sport at the dealers. Santa fe was a great, but just not for me. Driving the jeep home I noticed I could look around while driving and it didn't wander like the Santa fe, also the seats are like siting in a recliner. Now for the not so good the power...the 2.0 turbo was kick ass, almost as good as the hemi ram I had, well almost, the 3.2 just isn't quite the same which I can live with but part way home it developed this squeak that seems to be coming from the rear but hard to tell. Bottom line is it's a very nice truck, nice to drive, great off road, comfort, but would be really great when we figure out how to put a semi in it.

That's the first I've heard someone complain about the power of the V6 in the Cherokee. You should go take a test drive in a Cherokee with the 4-cyl. Maybe you should have held out for the diesel... :)

On the MY 2014 & 2015, you use ERS (Electronic Range Select) to display the current gear. I believe the 2016 & 2017 MY KLs can be set to show the current gear on the dash all the time.

For yours, when driving with the shifter in D, push the shifter to your left (ERS mode) and the current gear will display on the dash. However, the actual purpose of this function is to allow you to set the highest gear you want the transmission to use, say for trailering or engine braking. The actual gear the transmission is in can change to a lower gear while the dash shows the highest gear selected. So to get an updated current gear display you would have to move the shifter to the right and to the left again. Hope that makes sense.

I have a 3.2 Trailhawk and I have not lost a race yet. Hit 118 MPH on the freeway a few days ago. Couldnt resist. Beat a Mercedes Benz with a 4.something liter engine (had a badge on the back). If the Mercedes had not been 6+ years old and in need of a tune up, it might have been able to hang... My 2017 has ZERO issues with power. I might have got a diamond in the rough or I might have broke it in the right way, but mine snaps my head back all the time. I have to baby the throttle or I lunge forward instantly. I have to put $40 in the tank every other day. I drive it at least 3 1/2 hours a day Monday - Friday and I keep it in sport mode any time I suspect someone wants to go faster than me. I know I am a maniac and I need to stop but its hard living in Los Angeles county where everyone drives 70+ MPH. The vehicles also stop on a dime on solid dry road with good traction. I was going 70 and stopped in 2 or 3 car lengths for a yellow light. The back end slid out about 2 inches.
