Keeping the front grille and hood waxed also helps with bug removal. I used to used paste waxes, now I use Meguiars Quik Wax. Spritz on, buff out with a microfiber cloth. Doesn't leave white residue if you accidentally get it on plastic/rubber trim.
Mike's Car Wash! $45/month = Unlimited Works Wash! Brushless System. Never a mark all the years I have used them. The "Pink Stuff" smells awesome! Works for me.
I use ONR (Optimum No Rinse), 1 capful in 1 gallon, dip 16x24" microfiber in the solution, put it soaking wet on the Jeep and wipe off, then dry with another microfiber cloth. Works unbelievably well. Probably 4 microfibers in the solution and 2 to dry is all it takes.
If I could wash by hand daily I would. I try and wash it by hand every other week or at least once a month . I still prefer paste wax , but it's basically because when I detailed for a living that's what I'd use.
