Insurance on my 2017 TH was less expensive than on my 2007 Camry Hybrid (same coverage). Agent said it was safety discount.

My insurance stayed the same with my TH, trading a 2014 Journey Crossroad.

It gives me a good feeling to know that as my KL self destructs (reading about all the part failures on the forum), I won't be killed if I wreck it!

What's interesting to me is that our Wrangler is sooooo much cheaper to insure than the KL and that's with a $25k adder for mods. I suppose it has to do with the fact parts are so available and everything darn near bolts on/off in minutes.

My family was hit by a red light runner in an older Dodge Durango. The Trailhawk ended up being totaled. My family wasn't hurt at all and the Durango folded like an aluminum can. I (was sold on the safety of this vehicle, we replaced our 15' with a 17'.

So basically the top safest 11 cars are tied at zero fatalities per million vehicles.

I wish the people who wrote these articles could actually write.

Well, It is MSN, so they probably struggled without an agenda to push in the topic....

That makes no sense. What I read is that they are saying that nobody had died in 11 of those 15 vehicles, ever? That's impossible. Click bait at it's best.
