Dang....I just got in on the RRO Super Sliders and am tapped out for big purchases for a while. I'm going to have to go with Hazard Sky's Dobinson's lift setup as I can build that out piece by piece.
In my recent research I have found that there is two different spring rates for the front now. Just curious if this will cover either or on only one. With plans to add the bumper when it comes out along with a winch I would be interested in the HD spring kit for sure and actually started calling around for pricing this past weekend.
Sweet count me in. Was going to get the mfc fox shocks for rear but was waiting for the fronts to appear. Tired of waiting and for that price I am in. Plus I think I have a blown strut. I wonder if that is covered under warranty? If so will jeep install this for me?
update on buy..... just spoke with dobinson .. freight is going to be a nightmare with 48 states so we decided to do a flat rate to all 48 states ,,$90.00,, covers all 48 states,, some pay a little more and some pay a liitle less.. but its a group buy.. so if the freight is an issue for the buy we dont want any complaining or such . no drama on this buy... you can just pay full price and full shipping ...
I am interested, but have what may be a stupid question. I already have the Aussie/Valpacer/HS lift which gained me right about 1.5 inches. So, can you combine these or will they put you too far out of alignment spec? I know people are running higher lifts (including using Dobson's), just haven't seen the details of how it was achieved. I realize you can just do one spacer in the rear to regain the lift lost, but what about the front. Can you still do the knuckle relocation or is there another way to regain the lost lift of just going with the Dobson equipment?
UPDATE ON HAZARDSKY PART OF GROUP BUY .. 3 MORE NEEDED TO GET THE 20% DISCOUNT ON TH PLUS ALUMINUM LIFT .. contact paige@hazardsky.com.. also remember the poll is for dobinson lift only , hazard is a separate deal attached you do not have to buy dobinson to get his deal and vice versa... to all the maybe's i have 5 on facebook and 5 on here once we hit 20 the buy is taking place we will not wait to for others.we all want our lift as soon as possible .. but not trying to rush you to decide just being upfront with how it will go down.best i can do is once we hit twenty wait till the following morning for any others.
I'll need to check with the wife, but... yes. Assuming I can keep my funds available and free. I've got a run in August I'd love to do with the full kit on.
Question, I know there are two different rated springs for the system - one "with accessories" and one for KLs w/out bumper and winch. Will we be able to specify with spring set?

@rski I've posted this group buy info on Reddit in the /r/KLcherokee subreddit. It's not a very active community but the more eyes who see this, the better.
Update.. By my count we need 8 more....jump on board...this on 5 jeep cherokee pages on facebook as well it was on more but i left one group and a small group had no interest..
I am out. As much as I would love this the RRO group buy is hitting me for $700, and I cannot justify another 800-900 w/ shipping to the wife for a car with 5k miles on it.
ok peeps we need 5 more all trailhawk kits are in stock and ready to ship ad1 kits are waiting for front springs and they arrive july 10th and will ship right after.. dont miss this buy who knows when it will happen again..ill repeat once we hit 20 its over.. orders will be placed . we all want our kits asap..
Does the kit include new stretch bolts and special tool to torque the nut at the top of the strut ? Not sure of how many extras are needed for installation.
I ordered and received a kit from Dobinsons a couple of weeks ago. You get 4 springs, 2 shocks and two struts. The only other hardware I received were two nuts, one on the stem of each strut. No other instructions or paperwork. And most importantly, a couple of stickers...
the buy is a go..starts today and ends 06/23/17 im posting the official dobinson group buy post with all info needed its one week long and orders received after midnight next friday will not be honored...
Also ordered knuckle bolts from Group1 Auto parts
6509954AA Strut Screw
5168088AA, Spring seat
(left and right are the same)
$2.01 each, qty 2
$1.21 each, qty 2
$6.73 shipping
$15.17
Note: you can reuse the strut/knuckle nuts if you don't bugger them up.
If you need the nut, get 06507676AA hex flange, locking, M12x1.50
The PN listed on the MOPAR websites is wrong. It is a M10 thread. Trust me, I have two in my garage wasting space.
