Sorry your dealer can't fix your issues but, good luck in your next purchase.

I tried to work with my dealer for the Terrain, they were stonewalled by GM, they knew the "zebra stripes" on the cylinder walls were and are still a problem, search it on the Terrain/Equinox site, I'm under the same handle there but not active and, only extended the drivetrain warranties.

Names for vehicles may be changed during or after development for a number of reasons, so these codes are used inside the company to denote particular vehicles. As a previous poster noted, there usually is a logic to them with a sequence of codes for successive vehicles.

Sometimes these codes become used in public. For example we all know the Porsche 911, originally a 1960s model, I believe. However Porche's internal codes for what is still called the 911 have continued numerically. The current "911" is actually called the 991 series inside Porsche, for example. Similarly, the Camaro Z28 was originally an internal ordering code but became a public model when that code was associated with a particularly desirable variation of the Camaro.

Make sense?

SOrry i meant to say there's no rear air vents. You would think almost every crossover in this size would have one but no!

So on the Toyota Landcruiser, the first 1951 model was the BJ-40. B-4 cyl Diesel. J-jeep. 40-body style. Then came the FJ-40. F-6 cyl 2f engine. J-jeep. 40-body style. And yes Toyota totally copied the Willies and added their own flare. I owned a 1965 FJ45 shortbed and a 1980 FJ40, great off road vehicles. For the whole story and Overland's response to Toyota using the word Jeep check out the Landcruiser wiki.

I'm honestly would just kinda wondering just because most of the cherokees around me that are around me mostly have black interiors just wasn't sure if the back would be hot despite the fact that it does have air vents in the back.

you do know that your Jeep has rear air vents, don't you? you seem to be under the impression that it does not.

I know that it does have rear air vents for the Cherokee in general. But I also know that the TH-L that I saw have a black interior. So I wasn't sure if it would be hot despite the fact that it does have the free flow air vents. Just wasn't sure if the rest of you guys did have back passengers complain that it's hot back there?

What do you mean by free flow air vents? The vents in the back can be aimed, have AC/heat (so full HVAC), and run off the same blower as the front vents.
