Two random questions

I had my level kit installed by a great shop yesterday and I spoke with a guy that did it and he has done lift and level kits on many different types of vehicle. He had a little concerns about it here and there but he said everything was great.
He mention that the front axle makes a little click sound when at Max full lock and you are slowly driving or going around a very wide time, like for example when I pull into a parking lot and have to full lock to get strsight. It's like a very low click noise but if I recall correctly, it's always done that. He said maybe it's the greese or something with the cv joints because the axle isn't use to the angle it's at now? Don't really remember exactly what he said lol I was just eager to get out and head to work, I was late already. Does anyone else have that issue? If it's even an issue at all.

Also while I was driving around in a camry missing my jeep I saw a sport kl that when indicated, it DID NOT turn off the day time running lights. I thought every time you indicate, the indicated side DRL would turn off until you finish the turn or lane of switch and turn the blinker off? It looked hot as **** and wanna figure out a way to do that

I have noticed that many GM vehicles do not turn off the DRLs when the signal lights are on. MY TH does. Also. some GM LED brake lights are so bright, it is hard to see the rear turn signal if it is amber.

I just went out to check mine (canadian 2015 Latitude) : with headlights ON, the DRLs are lower power and do not turn Off when the turn signal is activated.
They only turn Off with the blinker when the headlights are Off.

Hope that helps.

From the owner's manual...page 171 in the iteration that I have:

• When the Daytime Running Lights are on and a turn
signal is activated, the Daytime Running Lamp will
turn off on the side of the vehicle in which the turn
signal is flashing. The Daytime Running Lamp will
turn back on when the turn signal is turned off.

that's the way mine was when I bought it preowned but I didn't like that so another forum member told me I cud change it in the settings. only downside is I have to turn my DRL on manually now, but that's no biggie, I like having the choice. sometimes I just wanna be chill & blend, ya know? go change it :-)
