A lot of companies, actually. It allows for a free flow of information to the consumer base while cutting down on (potentially) expensive website updates.

If you're a small shop, taking time to update website continuously is a PITA and takes away from the actual work. What they really need is an updated website with SQL database, a CMS system, webpages written in PHP or some other web prog language instead of plain 'ole HTML. Then pay someone a lot of money to run and maintain it. Fun...

Or they can do what they are doing. As long as the product is good...I don't care.

rant over
I don't begrudge people who choose not to use social media. I have tried sharing the utility of things like twitter, etc. to no avail.

But at the same time, its like, if TV is available, why are you sticking to radio? Can't complain about it if you choose not to see and leverage its utility.

You've adopted the internet, lets just go a little further...

I agree, and without this website, I would still be looking for any aftermarket parts!

You already crowd-source to answer questions and aggregate information by virtue of your membership and participation here. Facebook and Twitter are basically just different / more streamlined interfaces to said information. Take the plunge!
