I will be going to uwharrie national forest in Saturday August 16th. Never been but they have amazing trails, mudding, and crawling. Be nice to see a fellow cherokee kl there

I wheel out there frequently in a JK and in the past with a JKU and TJ. As far as trails, stay off Daniel as I just don't see it happening in a KL and parts of Rocky Mountain Loop you will need to take some of the bypasses. Kodak Rock on the Rocky Mountain Loop is a great place to pull off (plenty of spots to do so) and watch some experienced rock crawling. Dutch John and Dickey Bell are up to you, but the KL will not come out "perfect."

Wolf's Den, Falls Dam, Sawpost, and Slabpile you can handle with basic knowledge but I definitely see the KL getting some trail rash......just can't say how much, as I've seen stock Jeeps come out without a scratch. I have yet to see a KL out there, including my own, as I use my Jeep in Uwharrie as a preference and not sure I'd take my Trailhawk.....it's just too pretty to take shopping.

The Eldorado Outpost close to the entrance of the park has trail passes and maps. The maps are sufficient however searching Google and printing will give you better results. Most people out there are extremely friendly, there will be some who talk crap about the KL but I see it performing well and them shutting up. Good luck!

Well it's not perfect anymore now, rims scratched up, skid plated scratched up, but the paint and plastic holds up really well, as I used my trailhawk to carve a new path through up to 12' trees, and came out with only slight scuffs on some of the plastic, but waxing before you take it through the brush helps a lot, as long as I don't mess up the paint I will be fine, plastic can be replaced and rims can be buffed.
