I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee North - 40,600km.
The "Service Shifter" message has been coming on for the past month. The dealership said that can't find anything wrong because it always resets itself once the car is turned off. They want me to drive it to them when the message is displayed - its too bad that they aren't open 24/7, then maybe I could get there when it is acting up.
Also, the transmission was repaired twice and replaced a week ago. The Service Shifter message was coming up before the transmission troubles became apparent. It is still shifting roughly from 1 - 2 and R. So far, the cost (under warranty) is close to $7k.
I read that there is a class action lawsuit in the states because of these issues with the 2014 Cherokee.
What is next in Canada?
