I have received my KL back from the dealer with the screws to the air box out and the tires rotated but not aired up...welcome to the world of the least paid person (lot porter) doing the 'final check' before delivering the vehicle to the customer.

Hope, as you mentioned, it is a simple fix and you're all set.

I have the same issue a 2014 Trailhawk v6. the slow roll no go hesitation, been complaining about it for 2 years. Well I finally contacted Chrysler support and got a case worker... took it to the dealer and told my advisor to drive it everyday... **** take it home with ya. So after 2 days he calls and says yes it did the dead stick just as he was pulling across a busy intersection... scared the crap outta him. So now the trans guy says no problem... a Chrysler rep comes in and a new transmission being installed as I type. They have had the Jeep 2 weeks now I am driving one of their loaners. My problem is this... I believe this to be a computer problem not a transmission mechanical issue... here's why... I can manually shift through the gears up and down without an issue.. it's when you put it in D the problem occurs... mine is between 2-1 on the slow down it goes into no mans land at 5 mph when you hit the gas... NOTHING for a couple seconds... SUCKS in stop N go traffic. My solution has been to shift it for the last year when going slow, stop signs, merging etc and it works just fine... Ok... the shift points are way out example you must upshift the next gear way before the red line like 2000rpms before or it will hit the rev limiter... but the down shifts are spot on

Not claiming to be an FCA tranny engineer, but the software is matched to the transmission. The shift patterns were changed to protect the faulty transmissions. The new transmission will not be driven by the same software.

Hopefully this is the last update. I picked the jeep up Friday afternoon. I've put about 100 miles on it so far it seems to be driving fine. No more strange noises, no dropping out of gear at random, and it hasn't left me on the side of the road yet.

My biggest complaint about the original nine speed was the low speed hesitation ie. when trying to accelerate from a yield sign. If I slowed too much the jeep would flat out refuse to accelerate for a few seconds no matter how much gas I gave it. Wile the hesitation has not been completely eliminated, it seems to be substantially less pronounced.

So hopefully everything has been resolved, but I guess time will tell.

This is what happens when I post before coffee.

They had left the access doors for the headlight and fog lights on the fender liner un-fastened. The noise wasn't transmission related at all and was probably just an oversight as they were buttoning things up. I feel like a dummy for not seeing something so simple, but at the time I was just pissed that it wasn't right and decided the dealer could figure it out. The dealer did put an entirely new fender liner in since the access panels were pretty chewed up by the whole situation.

The new fender liner is a solid piece and doesn't have the access panels for the headlights or fog lights. I'm fine with it, it's just two less plastic clips that can break.

I don't have the lamp access doors on mine. I have replacement bulbs for both my headlights and fog lights. I can not see the location of the bulbs, looking down while the hood is open, or looking up from underneath. With my bionic back, I'm lucky to be walking. My oil change notification has not lit up yet (4,300). My Service Tech suggested I should get the oil changed at 5,000. So, when I finally have my first oil change, I'm going to ask them to swap out my bulbs.

15 TH, trans blew up at 33k miles, at 35k the shifter module is being replaced, key fob broke today, I have literally never had to take a new vehicle in for so much warranty work in my life. Absolutely the last Jeep product I will ever own, just biding my time until the powertrain warranty gets close to expiration before trading it in on a Toyota (at this point I will take the shitty ride and terrible handling of a Taco just to have something that doesn't constantly break).
