Some Cherokees have had transmission issues. It appears that a very mall portion have been effected; it seems to be random to a degree. Many vehicles built before the calendar year 2015, including model year 2015's build in the year 2014 have seemingly been the most susceptible to transmission issues. If Jeep takes care of you and replaced your transmission, you should be in good shape. The vast majority of the KL's have functioned properly and the owners have considered them to be supreme vehicles, myself included. Sorry for your issues, but it sounds like you are being taken care of and will be good to go for many many miles down the road.
