I agree with @David_Baker. I went with 245/70/17's (BFG KO2's) and they just barely fit. I do not see who any size larger would be able to fit.

2015 Cherokee Trailhawk:
Granite Crystal, 3.2L V6, 8.4 Nav, black leather, sunroof, tow, tech, comfort/conv, no hood decal, 9 speakers, CD player, Maximum Care lifetime warranty, Mopar first aid kit, rear rubber cargo mat, Thule Aeroblade cross bars (black), Thule Rapid Aero feet, Kuat Vagabond X cargo basket, RRO rock rails with smooth covers, Mopar door sills, Raingler ceiling net, Raingler seat headrest handles, MFC aluminum lift kit, RRO winch bar and Warn M8000S winch, BFG T/A KO2s

Isn't the other "factory suspension" tire size option 265/65/17? They are same outer diameter just about an inch wider. TireRack says both are 30.5" diameter, 365 has a section width of 10.7" and 245 a width of 9.8"

I have 265 65 17, but they are saying nothing bigger than 245 75 will fit spare tire wheel well I believe... which it wont. My 265 65 doesn't fit... by about an inch.

The cargo space "lid" just barely fits with the 245/75/17. Anything wider would not be able to close.

Taatmk,

Confirm you have a 245/75/17 and it fits in the Spare well? Most guys are saying that 245/70/17 is the maximum size, and I'd really like to go with the slightly larger tire. What are your tires? It says KO2 in your signature block.

Yes, I stand corrected. My tires are BFG KO2's and they are 245/70/17 and they just barely fit in the rear tire compartment. I do not have the 75/17's and would not see how they could fit....
