UHMW Spacers Ordering Info (Valpacer Lift)

Hello, here's the info and process:

ORDERING INFO
Give him my name: Not Needed
Give him my customer ID number which he will have on file: 165427
Provide him with your own payment method/info for the spacers

Contact Info:
Kevin Edwards
Industrial Plastic Supply
714-978-3520 ext 315

Invoice posted, if you guys want to donate, again it was $60.00 non-recurring setup fee.

PRICING INFO

You can order in different thicknesses and mix in the same order.

There's a minimum of 4 spacers per order

3/8 spacers cost $11.75 per spacer
1/2 spacers cost $13.75 per spacer

You could also just order the material from him or anywhere else and do the cutting yourself.

MATERIAL SPECS:

UHMW plastic - I spoke to the rep there and he says this is the way to go. It's tough and self lubricating, properties comparable to aluminum and also there are offroad companies using this stuff for parts so I feel comfortable with it.

There's up to a +/- 10% variance in actual thickness vs. stated.

Personally, I don't think this is a big deal, it's 1 MM at most in either direction. Since the cuts are all coming from the same sheet then all spacers will be of uniform thickness for your order.

SPACER DIMENSIONS:

Outer Diameter = 4.125 inches
Inner Diameter = 2.125
Thickness = 3/8 of an inch or 9.625 MM OR 1/2 inch or 12.7 MM

Thanks!

which did you go with 3/8 or 1/2 and if you went 1/2 did it give you an obvious rake?

Make sure to take pictures! I might order a set of these for myself, or just buy a sheet and a few hole saws. I have the OME spacers in for the moment, but would be nice to have something a little more tightly fitting.

Hi, I am new to the forum (been lurking for over a year and finally decided to join).

I was wondering, would there be anything wrong with paring one 3/8 and one 1/2 to try to make up for the minute loss from the total 20mm? You would wind up with about 22mm, which would not be much difference would it?

Edit: Didn't realize I posted this on 2 threads, sorry mods about the clutter, got my answer on the other thread!

These are the ones I was talking about. I just got off the phone with Kevin at industrial Plastics and he said that they are currently making about 12 of each size. He said that would probably take about four days to make them up and then they are ready to ship as soon as people order them
