I have the 2016 75th Anniversary Edition that came stock with 18 inch rims. I kept the rims and put 255/55 18 BFG KO2s on her. No rub before the lift (which I am hoping to get installed tomorrow).

I see that only the 17 inch rims have been listed in the posted chart. Thought I would provide real life 18 inch info for you as well.

255/55 18 is only 29in diameter which is half inch smaller than a stock Trailhawk tyre so should have no probs at all with or without a lift. My only concern would have been the inside egde of the tyre on suspension components due to the tyre width on the lesser offset rims (Trailhawk rims sit further out)

Thumbs up Largest Tire Size That Will Fit In The Spare Well

I'm not sure if this is the correct location for this question. Since my TH already has a Factory 1" lift, I don't plan on lifting it anymore for consideration of my back, pertaining to getting in and out. P245/65R17 are the Factory size tires. I have read on the forum that P265/65R17s will fit with no rubbing issues, but one will not fit in the spare tire well. Thus, P255/65R17s should fit, but will one of these fit inside the spare tire well? Thanks in advance for reading.

I have 18" on my limited but the stock tires (225/60R18) seem to have lot of room for much bigger tires, but I am having hard time wanted to replace my MICHELIN Premier LTX .

Anyone know how much bigger I can go not wanted to go to a 17" rim for future purchase?

So I will be honest and admit I skimmed this thread and didn't read every post in great detail....

With that being said, It bothers me that so many are responding to if a tire size will or will not fit without rubbing and not inquiring about if they have aftermarket wheels or are running spacers that change the offset and therefore the scrub radius.

I have read over and over that 265/65r17s will fit without rubbing, but I can tell you they absolutely WILL if you are running spacers.... We trimmed a BUCH of the pinch seam and still have some rubbing when we hit a bump and are on partial turn. You can see what we did to make the 265s fit HERE. NOTE: we also have lifted it, not that rubbing is greatly impacted by the lift.

If I digress into the lifts.... The 1.25-1.5" from the Aussie or Budget boosts are inaccurate. Unless people are including the larger tires, you are looking at a real world of 1 inch in the front and slightly over an inch in the rear. We have before and after measurements in our install directions HERE.

I know I'm a little late to the thread, but no. I have 255/75 with no spacers. Does involve grinding the pinch welds.

All options minus tech. package. MFC Lift Kit. 255/75/17 BFGs. RRO Bull Bar. Lots of lights.

Looking to do the same thing to my 17 75th anniversary, any issues with those tires? rubbing, noise, handling?

Thanks!
