I remember shocks and struts being in the extended warranty as well. It was a bit part of why I ended up buying 6 years 100,000mi added care plus.
I'm still kicking myself for not buying lifetime maxcare at the time of purchasing the Cherokee...

I went online to shockwarehouse.com and they show no replacement shocks/struts for the Cherokee. Bilstien would be my choice, if they ever decide to make a replacement.

I just checked Bilstein, they make no shocks for us. Looks like OEM it is.

I just called the dealer up the road. They said they need about 30 min to see if I am Warranty ready for new shocks and struts. I'll schedule later this week.

Going in to get mine looked at today, I'm right on the 40k miles line and noticed last trip that I was getting a lot of shudder and judder over some highway surfaces, and some juddering on turning or braking. I wonder if they will install Dobson's kit if I cover the difference?
