So last week as I was filling up, I looked around, and noticed this on the rear rotor, and just now I remember to snap a photo of it.
The other three rotors look normal, but the passenger side rear rotor looks like this. I have also noticed a peculiar sound, almost like a squeaking/screeching sound at lower speeds (5-35 or so mph). I had originally thought it would be the rear transaxle, but after seeing this, I'm wondering.
When I touch that part of the rotor btw, it feels like I'm touching a vinyl record. I do use the parking brake on a frequent basis, so I'm curious if that might have something to do with it, but I notice nothing that seems indicate the brake is stuck.
What say you JCC?
