Unhappy "Clinking" noise from brake pedal

The brake pedal on my 2014 Cherokee Ltd has made a "clinking" sound since the first week of purchase in January. The dealer has made 3 unsuccessful attempts at eliminating this noise including replacing the brake booster, switch and pedal. The noise has improved, but is still audible periodically. They say nothing else can be done and they don't know why it's making the sound. Has any one else experienced this? Any thoughts other than turnng up the radio volume?
Thanks

Mine does it when I release the pedal, I just assumed it was the return spring.....

Clinking? When I release the brake pedal it sounds like a squeak to me. It's annoying as ****.

Same issue on my TH I believe. Do you feel a slight difference in break pressure or resistance from the pedal when the noise occurs?

This was happening on my 2008 Mercury Mariner. I took it to an auto shop and they could not find anything wrong with the breaking system. It stopped doing it and haven't heard it in a couple of years.

The squeak is driving me crazy as well. Dealer replaced brake booster and repeatedly says this is "normal" for the car. Does anyone have a solution?
Thx

It's not normal. It's an issue that needs to be addressed. It might be a mechanism that needs lubricating or recalibration and should be fixed by the dealer. It's not normal. My TH doesn't do that.
