Red face Fuel economy 3.2TH

Howdy all from N.Z.

What are y'all getting economy wise on yer 3.2 V6s? Mine has 240km (yep, it is new) and just got 15.5MPG (about 18l/100km according to Fuelly and 16.5l/100KM says the computer).

I know it will get better as it runs in but just curious....

Thanks

Oliver

No iPhone for me thanks.

I average 11L/100 with the TH on 245/70's around town to work and around 9 or less on a long highway run.

Hi from MA, USA

We have two Cherokee TH's their gas mileage stinks! Traded a=the wife's '10 Jeep Liberty Limited for one TH. The Liberty got terrible gas mileage so some improvement especially around town for her. probably 3 or 4 mpg so around town about 17/18. I traded my '12 Wrangler JKU (4dr) Auto Transmission for a TH. The Wrangler did about the same as the TH and the Wrangler was heavier and as streamlined a brick??? Best Highway mileage is about 22 mpg at 65/68 mph and that's about the same as my "12 Wrangler at 60 mph...go figure, VERY disappointed!

I want my Wrangler back!!!

Sorry I did not convert, I'm one of those lazy Americans!!

Go Jeep!!!

11000km here I average 10-11L/100KM consider myself lucky when I get 500km off a tank..... I just recently sold my roof rack after figuring on one tank of gas it was costing me $20-30 just to have it up there & I rarely used it my average was around 15-16L/100KM with it on. Long story short its a bit worse on gas than I expected tbh but if I was that worried I wouldn't have got a 4x4 Suv to start with

Totally agree with this, I knew going into this purchase that my mileage was going to go down compared to my old car but didn't deter me from buying the Jeep.

27,000km here on a 2016 V6 T-Hawk and right now I'm averaging 9.8 - 10.2 L/100km. When I have to use snow 4x4, it drops to 11.6 - 12 L/100km. Our driving habits are 90% 2 lane highway, 10% city so overall I'm happy with the mileage.

Well, if I got 18 ish MP(US)G around town i'd be over the moon!!!
Just got about 12ish MP(US)G.
Here's hoping the 1500 miles mentioned above is good. I tend to agree tho
