50,000K service

Will just make this a quick post. For info I was charged $276.80 for my 50K service last week.

Seems quite reasonable! Well, depending on the answer to the above question ;-)

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.

That's good. Did you provide anything yourself?

Note: For the US people commenting - Australian dealership prices for servicing, regardless of manufacturer are not what you people are used to paying domestically. Savings can be made by doing it yourself or providing your own consumables ie: filters, oil but lots of folk don't want to (me included).

MY15 KL Limited CRD - True Blue ADII, Tech group, Electronics/Conv groups and Pano
MY14 Grand Cherokee Overland CRD - DCR ORAII
MY07 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7 Hemi - Silver (Sold)

Nope, like you I just drop the Jeep off at the dealer to do the service. I will have to look at the service book to see what was done but I suspect that it was no more than an oil and oil filter change plus the usual drive train inspection.

If all they did was the oil change and inspection, that does seem a bit high. Only $25 for all of that at my dealer.
