MY14 to MY16 fully loaded Trail hawk

Well........

I now have a MY16 Trailhawk. This is fully loaded the only option not ticked it the metallic paint as I like the white (for both of them).
I did 33000km in the 14 in 18 months

The 16 is such a better car.
every aspect of the driving is better, this one drives like it was designed by the same team. It all works well together. I no longer get the small burn outs when I take off and I have 2nd on down shifts.

The differences I have noticed other than the things that did not work on the 14 are.
Passenger seat now electric and there is no under seat storage.
U connect App function, this actually does nothing but I am hoping it is future planning.
can write address in sat nav while driving not just stationary
digital radio
start stop

I just took of the brand new rubber and fitter 265-65-17 BFG ko2
No rubbing at this stage. But there is a bit more noise, probably a bit more than I had thought but not to bad.

I am soooo happy with the 16. It is such a good car. How it drives is fantastic

Wow, never knew you were considering a swap out. That's great. Assuming it is the 75th Anniversary model. Pic - we need a pic!

Yep. There was some wheeling and dealing done ? And with a few big deep breaths on both side ....... I ended up happy ?

No it's not the anniversary (that I am aware off). Apparently mine is the only my16 trailhawk on the roads in Australia.

Thrilled for you. Keep us updated on the daily drive. My MY15 Limited has been perfect (2 years old now) - I would be looking to upgrade in maybe early/mid 2018. (?) and this time around, I might just go for the TH.

Congrats!!

First thing I notice is I cant see the amber front turn indicator - have they gone coloured LED?

Edit.. might just be the angle and the sun..

Just walked out and had a look. I think it was the angle of sun hitting the internal amber globe.

The car is really substantially better.
Well I guess it is how it should have been.

Does anyone know if there is an update coming and when. I want to flip this onto my wife and grab the next edition in about 18months.

How did you get a powered passenger seat? Not offered in the US, as far as I know. Also, they are killing the Dodge Dart at Belvedere to increase production of the Cherokee, so it will be built in Toledo and Belvedere, according to Sir Sergio!

The powered seat was a surprise, in a way good but the storage spot was great to hide the kids headphones we use on long trips.
I was disappointed there was no memory seats. It is the only thing it lacks.

But as I said this is every box ticked, there are no more things to spend money on. (yet i just did with the ko2's :-) )
and possibly the lift but not convinced. I did have it on the 14.
