Cool 12000Km service

Hi all!
Had my first serivce (12000Km) last week at 12300Km.

NZ$540.00!! Could have been worse I guess. Next year is brake fluid and cabin filter. I can sense $700!!

Ah, well, such is life.

Oliver

Thought first scheduled service according to manual is at 24km other than basic oil change

Well not in the South Pacific. AUS and NZ have their own rules about maintenance, and it is incredibly expensive. And yes they replace tranny and diff fluids even though they are sealed / maintenance free here in North America.

Pretty steep for just an oil change.. Mine is just about ready for the 36,000km service. I might get the lube and bend over just to be ready...

Sent via Tapatalk from a small keyboard on my phone with fat thumbs and no glasses...

Hi
Yep. In NZ we have a lot of shingle roads in the rural areas too so cabin filters are replaced annualy too unless they are spotless. Oz is similar but her in the South Island of NZ we have a lot of unpaved roads off the main thoroughfares.

DIff fluids and trans etc are done at about 60000 miles or 90000Km. Mandatory or warranty is void. Same with regular servicing. Chrysler's way or no warranty.

Happy days!

Oliver
