Cool! Specs? Source? Cost? How does the Jeep drive on the highway with that on? Any noise? I was considering (hard) getting one for my trailer top before my road trip but opted to go with the ground tents.

2015 Trailhawk - Eco Green, 3.2L, Nav, Tow, Cold Weather. MODS: Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain ProGrades 245/70R17; WeatherTech mats, vent shades; Magnaflow exhaust. Rigid SR 20" bar and Rock Lights. JW Speaker fog lights. Blue Ridge Overland Gear panels and bags. Pelican tool box loaded! Bubba Rope and Gators too. Much more....

Trailer: Custom built Montrose aluminum 4.5'Wx6'Lx3'H off-road utility with 3,500 lb Dexter torsion axle. Known as the Zombie Escape Trailer.

Went with the cascadia vehicle tent. I purchased the Shasta pioneer model which sleeps three comfortably. I will be driving this week with the tent on and camping at a state park next weekend. I will give an update after the trip along with some better pics. I will include the annex which came with my purchase. I also got the skygazer windows. Can't wait to see the night sky in Moab while in the tent.

Are our roofs rated for that? I thought they couldn't handle the weight of 3 people a tent and a rack... I have no idea though, I could be very wrong!

I think the 150lbs limit is on the factory rails. They can handle more static weight than that though, because the 150lbs takes into account aerodynamic forces while driving at highway speeds when you have stuff on the roof ; depending on the shape of what you have up there, you may be applying a pretty decent downforce at speed which increases *weight* on the rails.
That said, not sure I'd go over 250lbs on those rails (static). Now if you remove the factory rails and install something more solid (like a Gobi rack), then you increase that weight limit. By how much ? That depends on roof design/strenght. But 3 people on the roof sounds... a little much for the KL.

Gobi claims 300 moving, 800 not moving.
