NON-Trailhawk & RRO sliders

question: has anyone on here with a NON-trailhawk put the RRO sliders on? I was reading the how-to for the MOPAR sliders install from SevenSlotSyndicate and it made mention that the front mud flaps are removed and not reinstalled. This is concerning me, because on AD-II non-trailhawks, there are two holes in the fender arch trim to accommodate locating pins on the mud flaps. remove the flaps, and you'll have two holes in the wheel arch trim, necessitating the purchase of new, AD-I wheel arch trim. can anyone confirm this?

Yes, they fit fine. I had them on the Latitude. You'll just have two holes there for no reason. No big deal

I may not be understanding 100% what you're talking about when you say wheel arch trim. Are you talking about the black plastic on the outside of the car around the wheel wells, or are you talking about the wheel well liner itself?

the black plastic on the outside of the wheel arch. there are different part numbers for AD-I and AD-II KLs because the AD-II gives you the mud flaps, and holes to attach them. i don't want the holes if i have to remove the flaps. the mud flaps aren't very large, do the sliders fit in place without removing them?

I'm uploading two pics of how the rails look at the front of the Jeep. One is from the TH, the other is from the Latitude. I've never really paid attention to that part of the Jeep before the rails were put on.

Ok, now i see where your confusion comes from. You've owned two of the three available wheel arch versions, Trailhawk, and AD-I. The AD-II has a mud flap that i'm afraid will need to be removed, leaving behind the holes the mud flap used for mounting. I hope that the rails will fit without needing to remove the mud flaps, but if they need to be removed, i'll have to buy new trim. i haven't been able to find the part number for the trim yet or i'd show you a picture of the trim without the mud flaps, you'd see two holes. i took the following photo and tried to get the same angle of your pics to be apples to apples.

How about filling the holes with a plastic rivet, like is used to hold trim on? Black, round and hardly noticeable unless looking for it.

Because the holes leftover are rectangular, not round
