Smile Howdy!

After a year of ownership, I have started to perform minor upgrades to my 2016 Cherokee Latitude. I figured I should join the forum after being a lurker the last month or so. There is a lot of great information here and I hope to contribute and learn more.

2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude V6 4x4 in Graphite
Minor mods:
- AVS Vent Shades
- Driver/Passenger tint
- Diode Dynamics Fog Light XML2 in Cool White
- Diode Dynamics Reverse XML2 in Cool White
- Diode Dynamics HID Conversion in 6000K (Cool White)
- U-haul/Curt Class III hitch

Future upgrades:
- Diode Dynamics interior LED upgrade, in Cool White, as they become available
- Tires - OEM Firestones are not that great
- OEM Trailer hitch
- Front bull bar
- Roof rack (either a full replacement for the factory bars, or a cargo rack to sit on top)

Welcome to JCC, @2016LatKee. Sounds like you have some fun upgrades in the future.

Keep in mind, though, unless it is factory (not dealer) installed, the OEM hitch only gives you 2,000lbs towing capacity, not 4,500.

Would it give him 4500 lbs if he added the aux transmission cooler too?

Welcome to the forum!

You can upgrade your interior lights for around $20-$50 (depending on how expensive your taste is in interior lighting.)

Swing by Amazon and pick up your choice of 194 bulbs (x20 would be more than enough) and 74 bulbs (x4 for the vanity mirror lights).

That's all you need

His: 2015 Cherokee TH: Brilliant Black; V6
Mods: Gobi Rack and Ladder; Interior/Exterior LED upgrade; Xenon-Depot No Resistor HIDs; Hazard Sky Fabrications Lift Kit

Hers: 2015 Renegade Trailhawk: Alpine White; 2.4L

@dhh3 - there are .... many... threads on this forum about towing with a dealer installed hitch. The short version is that what the vehicle "can" do and what insurance/law will do if you overload the spec and are involved in an accident are not necessarily the same thing. The only true way to get all the Is dotted and Ts crossed is to have the hitch factory, not dealer, installed.

Welcome! I used Diode Dynamics' stuff with good results, also (same fogs, XP50 reverse lights, 4000K plate lights). How did the headlight upgrade work out for you? Any issues?
