Been surfing this forum and enjoying the content for at least a couple months now...

I'd seen (and been a fan of the styling of) KL Cherokees since I saw them as test cars driving (and occasionally broken down) on I75 by the Tech Center. I wanted one pretty bad! Then the transmission stuff happened and I held off.

Then, my wife's Liberty started acting up, so we traded it in on her '17 Latitude. I loved driving it so much I traded my truck in on a '17 Trailhawk.

Thanks for so many great posts with great info... I downsized from a truck I could throw anything I wanted to, to an SUV with comparatively limited space, but since I started perusing the forum here and seeing what others were doing, I streamlined my kit a good bit and don't feel like I'm missing anything.

So my introduction is to say "thanks!" :)

Welcome, wifey and I will be in the Southfield area about the end of June, visiting family. If you see a Black on Black TH with NC plates, we'll be waving.

Yes the downsizing can be a little tough to get used to. I went from a Tahoe with 3rd row. Having 2 kids and doing a lot of camping is where we felt the most pain. had to do the roof rack and hitch basket for long trips. and had to downsize out camping gear to just the essentials. settled in now and well worth it for the daily driving benefits. Loving mine, I'm sure yours will be the same. Congrats.
