I've got a 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk that I was really excited to get. Excited until I started having problems. I began leasing it January/February 2014 and it had 250 miles on it to start.
Problem number 1: At approximately 7-800 miles the rear differential broke. The service center had the car for a week.
Problem number 2: Now close to 5000 miles and the car is in the shop again. They are completely replacing the transmission this time. Been in the dealer's service center for a week and a half. I was supposed to get it back today, but the technician called and said after getting the transmission back in they heard another noise which they attributed to a PTU (??) and I should have the car back Thursday.
I will not be buying another jeep. My first experience and my last.
