I pay a $100 deductible, so the insurance company paid the bill and I sent them the $100.

Unfortunately my deductible is $1000 and I need to lower it. I'm lowering it to $500 prolly at the end of the month.

I got my windshield replaced on Saturday.

I feel so much better driving around without a cracked window

500 is still way too high for comprehensive. Comp is cheap... at least lower it to 250.

I haven't done this, but I saw it on Etsy and it looks promising for the windshield. Worth checking out for 8 bucks.
Today my wife's 2015 TH took a rock to the windshield that has the Willy's logo. No more OEM so I already measured existing and this decal seems to match. Gonna have it installed on new glass prior to bonding. Guess it's as good as it gets now .

Oh, and SF was gonna spank me $400 for OEM glass. Not very nice if you ask me. Shame on FCA and State Farm!

I've been watching this thread. I have a full length crack, side to side, just above the defroster. Good news it is not in the line of sight. Received it Christmas eve, owned the Snowhawk less than two months. I'm going to need a replacement given this year requires a safety inspection. Does anyone have the OE part number?

My Latitude was 6 weeks old when a rock hit the windshield. Due to a national backorder on the part, it was 3 weeks till my local glass company was able to get the windshield (ordered through my local dealer). I must say that replacing with OEM is the way to go. Not just for the logo, but having a replacement windshield that is the same used in production.

I chose PPG. The one difference is the defroster grid for the wipers is laminated in OEM but not aftermarket, so you need to be careful not to damage it with stickers. I used the decal from https://www.etsy.com/listing/2648542...nal_listings_0 and it came out awesome!!! I am very pleased. I forever would have been fixated on the empty spot where the Willy's silhouette once was...

Before (OEM):

Aftermarket (Decal):

Not a bad solution if your glass tech will work with you on it - centering it was tricky.

It's not an exact match but without side-by-side comparison (like here) I don't think many would notice. I'd say it's a decent fix to indemnify you following a broken windshield that had Willy on it.
