Complete

Finished the fronts. As I suspected with this upgrade my check airbag light activated. I went to the dealer this morning for a reset...thankfully it was free. The driver's seat is more comfortable with the lumbar and 8-way adjustment. They also seem to be more padding compared to the manual cloth seat.

Yeah the upgrade looks like a definite must . It may be something I end up doing but I plan on potentially trading up in 2 years once the 2018 is pushed out.

Considering others may be interested in the work you're doing, it might be a good idea to ask a forum moderator to move this (or modify it and post new) to the How-To section of the site. Thanks for taking the time to post your work!

I agree it's a wonderful job, but if we move it to the how to section the thread will become moderated meaning anyone that has comments or questions will have to wait until a moderator approves the comment. I'll bring it up to the other mods though and see what they think.

Not a problem at all! I don't mind helping others to save a little $$ if possible. Some may actually say skip the stress and just have the upgrades included with the purchase, I say saving $3-$4k off sticker price is worth a little stress.

Good point. Maybe @Jeep#2 would be willing to start another thread pre-approved in the How-To section and put the particulars there as a finished and locked posting.

That way this thread could be kept open for questions, etc.

We are talking about it among the moderators. When we agree on something we will let everyone know.
