Anyone Experiencing Driver Door That Is Hard To Close?

Hi guys! I'm new to the forum. I picked up my 2017 Latitude last week and have been noticing that the drivers door doesn't always close with normal force and need a real good slam to get it to close. I haven't noticed this on the other three doors. Does anyone have any experience with this or advice to remedy aside from taking back to the dealership to get checked out? Everything else seems perfect...got just under 300 miles on the odo.

Several others have reported here on misalignment issues with hood or tailgate or door. Take it back to the dealer to have it aligned.

Agree take back to dealer to have them check the alignment and hinges, might need some grease.

Our new Cherokee TrailHawk requires a firm hand when closing the driver door. The front passenger door closes with a gentle hand. We did also test drive a new 4-cyl TH before deciding to purchase our V-6 TH. The driver's door on the 4-cyl closed with a gentle hand. We just turned 1K miles on our TH and this is not that great of an issue for us that we want to have the dealer look at it. We were just commenting while driving home last evening how we were more satisfied with our TrailHawk than with any other car we have purchased; and we're in our 60's!

All four of my doors require more effort to completely shut that I am used to compared to any other car I've owned. My service manager blames the tight seals around the doors. I'm a little OCD. Since all four feel very similar, I can deal with it. If only one was different, I think I'd never stop thinking about it!

The KL is one of the most airtight FCA vehicles I have had in service. For those who think it is not, just crack a window and see how easy it is to close. Yes, there is a flapper valve for this, but it can only do so much. Enjoy the quiet ride, don't try to compare it to your BMW or whatever else you own.

I notice the exact opposite where the driver door can take an extra bit of force to get open sometimes. I'm not too concerned about it really, but if it gets worse, I'll get it checked out.
