Driver Side Door Sticks

Anyone have a fix or suggestion to help with a sticking Driver side door? I have a 2014, and the door has slowly been getting worse and worse as far as sticking goes. I basically have to shoulder it open at this point. I don't see any obvious signs of rubbing or scraping. Thanks!

Although you don't see any obvious signs, it must be hitting somewhere...have you checked the hinges to see if top one is loose/bent? Maybe double check latch mechanism and lube? Also check all the weatherstrip and lubricate. Might as well try a bit of everything before a dealer check...

What do you mean by "sticks?"

Is it metal on metal?

Is the weatherstripping sticking to the door?

Does it make any sounds when it does open? (Creaking metal, peeling plastic, ripping, scratching?)

And, maybe most importantly...have you visited the dealership?

To answer a few questions, no noise and no visible signs of what is causing the issue. When watching from the outside, the sticking occurs before the door is open enough to see if weather stripping is stuck or some other place is sticking. Basically, once the stick/suction breaks, the door opens fine, but it is sealed shut until whatever it is gives up.

I thoroughly cleaned every point of contact I could find and then hit the weather stripping with some 303, and the problem is about 90% better. It still doesn't open 100% freely compared to the other doors, but I no longer have to literally put my shoulder into it to get it to open.

good news! just don't ever use Pam or similar cooking spray. I tried that one winter & had an awful time cleaning up the mess
