Something is rolling around in my liftgate

How the **** do I get this thing off without messing anything up so I can get it out?

The liftgate inside I mean, not the entire liftgate lol

Two options...pop the panels off of the inside of the lift gate, and use some kind of magnetic wand to pick up the loose screw.

Or, take out the license plate lights (pop right off) and see if you can get the screws to fall out that way. (This is a much smaller exit point, but gravity might help.)

My wife's Renegade had two rattles, and they were some small wire-clips that came loose and were just bouncing around.

Take a dremmel and cut an access hole. The trim will cover the hole back up when you're done.

No no no no no no, you'll break it if you do that. I had a PDF instruction set when I took mine off, so I don't remember all the steps, but the handles help to hold the trim in place, so they need to be taken out before it will pop out.

Yes. They pop right out, and I BELIEVE the trim just comes off after that, although someone feel free to correct me. The cup handles are a big PITA to get out, but they pop out, and are required to be removed to get the trim piece out.
