I have a fire extinguisher that sits in the hole and is mounted to the side panel. fits great and easy access.

Nice! The only thing I don't like is that the attachment points are so low on the bag that the bag kinda tilts outward. What you have in the bag may be a factor, I'm not sure, but mine is pretty loaded. Also, how anal you are about that kind of this is a big factor on how big of a deal it is. For me: it bothers me a lot more than it should 😭

I have small bungees going between the 4 silver tiedown loops. wrapped the buckled straps around one bungee which seems to keep it in place. thinking it might be good for 1st aid, window break / belt cutter rescue tool, flares, survival knife, ratchet socket for the threaded hitch pin & gloves

I removed the 2 sturdy snapped straps & clipped shoulder strap which seem unnecessary right now. pic tomorrow maybe showing the bungee & buckled straps

thanks for the suggestion, I think I'll keep it!

Cool! I'm glad it worked, and interested to see how you secured it. I also took those 2 items off. I used the snapped straps to secure my other bag to the CMS rail (I had originally used 4 police duty belt keepers for that job, but these straps work/fit slightly better).

In mine a keep a hi viz safety vest, mechanix gloves, a red rain poncho, firestarting kit, headlamp, small handheld foghorn, cpr mask & nitrile gloves.

I don't have that little shelf. The factory sub uses a different interior panel.
