Weak airflow from HVAC fan

My wife just purchased a 2015 jeep Cherokee. We have noticed that the airflow from the HVAC vents is weak, regardless of fan speed. The fan when on high sounds like it should be pushing a lot of air, but the flow from the vents does not match the sound of the fan. I have already replaced the cabin air filter and it did not make any difference.

Any ideas?

Obvious, but still sometimes missed; are the louvers and flaps on the vents fully open? Also, check the climate controls and make sure you aren't in one of the defrost modes; that the air is set to come out the vents.

Also, welcome to JCC!

When you move the knob from DEF, to Vent, to Floor, listen for any clicking sounds. The air flow deflection doors use gears made from plastic. Possibly, one door is stuck closed. Also, check the air intake for leaves, debris. The opening is on the passenger side, at the base of the windshield.

I should have mentioned that I have felt around and do not feel air coming out of any other vents when in the main vents, but that's what it feels like. Likenthebcar is set to bi-legal and the air flow is being split between the two sets of vents, even though it's not. It does cool the car down, just feels weak compared to other cars I have driven.
