MOPAR Dog Kennel

Has anyone bought the MOPAR dog kennel specifically designed for the Cherokee? If so how do you like it? What kind of dog do you have and how big is he/she?

I have a similar generic kennel I had been using in my Patriot when I take Sadie hunting but I like the way the Jeep one has tie downs. The one I have now just sits back there.

This is the kennel I mean...

MOPAR 82213729

I don't think it would have been big enough for my previous Lab, Thunder, as he was a big boy but my current Lab, Sadie, is small( around 50lbs ). I think she would fit ok.

Just found the dimensions 22" W x 31" L x 22" H might fit a small squirrel

That will actually hold a mid sized dog believe it or not. My current travel kennel( see link below )has the following dimensions...

22" W X 31" L X 24" H.

So the MOPAR one is 2" shorter but otherwise the same. My Lab Sadie @ 50lbs will fit in the MOPAR one, and be comfortable, if those dimensions are accurate. My previous Lab, Thunder, @ 80 lbs would not have fit in it.

Sadie next to my Dad( 6' 180lbs )for size perspective...

Hmm, I wonder if I could fit a 12 lb and a 25 lb dog in there....I'll have to measure it out.

I've also got a Black Lab and would like to know if he would fit also. Mine is about 70lbs. Sadie is a gorgeous Lab I might add.

Mopar Kennel

I have a 50-60 pound black lab pup that I just bought one for. It should be here mid-week. The travel kennel I had been using was 36x26x26. This is not going to be spacious for him, but it should work for short hunting trips where he won't be in the kennel for many hours.

I guess I'll chime in. I bought it and have it. I have a 55lb Shepherd Collie mix. Works great. He's too tall for it, but you can unzip the top of the crate and he can stick his head out no problems. Would buy again.

I assume there is really now luggage room left after the installation of this kennel. I guess you would need a rooftop bag for your bags if taking your pet on a vacation.
