Just out of curiosity...did you put the piping anywhere else aside from the doors? I ordered some of the blue piping as well and can't wait to see how it looks!
No, I didn't want to over do it. I just put it in the doors for a little pop.. There really isn't many places you can put it, the slot has to be the perfect width for it to fit.
I completely forgot about this stuff. I don't plan on putting any in my Cherokee but I ran some blue in my Mustang. Definitely brought the interior together and gave it some character but I'm happy with how the Cherokee looks right now, although if I did put some in I would probably go with a red to accent the stitching and other reds throughout.
I have the icelandic grey interior and used the blue welting but now I'm thinking another color might be better. I just ordered 5 yards of silver grey. I think that will look even better. I'll post a pic when it's done.

I did the mod in red. Here are pictures of the front doors. Thanks again @Jeepgirl for the awesome suggestion!
I am having trouble inserting them on the rear passenger doors. The opening isn't sufficiently large and using a knife as a spacer isn't working. Any tips from others who have installed? @Jeepgirl@Tristar24

I'm also having a problem inserting the welting on my rear doors. The front doors were very easy but I didn't want to force the rear doors and screw it up.

so those that are doing red that have red stitching how well are the reds matching? from the pics it seems like the piping is just a bit to bright and the stitching is dark. Do they make other shades of red piping?
