Let me know how it goes! I loosened all 6 mounting brackets for the rear fixed pane tonight and reset them all in a different position. I also used a different lubricant on the seals. So far MUCH quieter I think I only heard one tiny peep. I'll try and perfect it over the next few days

I've had the same issues. Took my limited on test drive with quality control at local dealership so he could hear the rattling noise. They first tighten all the bolts and lubricated the seal. Quality control took for a test drive and still has rattling sound. Dealer called Jeep directly and they have recommended the entire sunroof frame be replaced. Anyone else have this done and did it solve the issue?

Gosh I really don't want to have to go the route of replacing the frame. Well my appointment is tomorrow so I will know soon enough.

I have the noise that sounds like it might be seals rubbing, not quite a rattle and not a clunk...did you all just lubricate the seals that mate when the roof is closed or others as well?

Thanks.

I hope I don't need to have the dealership get involved in redoing the whole seal or roof....

I've had to have both the front and rear glass completely replaced on my 2015 TH, as the seals were leaking badly enough that leaves were getting in through them.

Still in the shop for the latter.

EcoGreen Cherokee TH (all options except CD player, LED interior lights, WeatherTech mats all around)

Your description is the most accurate at least insofar as my own 2014 Limited is concerned. It's a creaking or groaning - particularly when it's colder outside than inside the vehicle. I'm thinking it's a lube fix but we'll find out soon, after the service manager searches for any related service bulletins.

I have the same creaking noise. dealer stated that the sliding trim was rattling against the main b pillar trim. It was quite for a couple of days, now it's much worse.

Well, nothing got done! They couldn't find the cause of the squeaking. They need to keep it for more then one day as they need to engage Jeep support people. If it wasn't a Friday I would have just told them to keep it. They said to arrange for another drop off when I can leave it for a longer period of time. They give me a loaner so no issue. I just haven't done it yet.

Mine isn't a squeak or a rattle, sound like some type of movement. It's infuriating.
