@Ifbar- yes, you are absolutely correct! They are used to protect furniture in the back of moving vans, and are quilted with batting inside- similar to a bed quilt but flatter.
They come in different sizes, so you don't have to get a big heavy one. In fact, I had one long ago that would've fit the back of the Jeep perfectly, without having to be folded double. I'd recommend an online search to see what stores carry them in your area. I believe I purchased mine at OSH or Home Depot years ago, but can't remember. Also- moving companies may sell them as well. Could be a good solution for you
Also check out canvas painters tarps.

Guess I will have to ponder a while on what I want to do. Ordered the autohieldshield sun shield yesterday. Not sure what I want to do on the cargo liner - got to decide what I think I can afford to spend.

Also still trying to decide if I want to get one of the seat bridge extenders or hammock type to use on the 2nd seat for my dog. Either one of them will cover the vent in the center console. I do not like that idea either -so have to decide what I want to do.
To anyone here using either of those, do you consider it a problem that it blocks the vent?

decisions , decisions, decisiosn. sighhhh

I need one that covers the back set when folded. I keep my seats folded 95% of the time, and noone makes one that goes all the way up to the headrest.
It is a little loose on the back of the seat, when the seats are upright, but I want one continous piece, and since I rarely put the seats up. It doest bother me.

It is a little short in the side cubby holes, but that because the roll I ordered was 48" wide, and the very edges are about 50. I was going to just cut it straight, and not cover the stoarge pockets, but I figure I can always just fold up the edge if I need in there..

I stays in place 100% when I fold the seats, or lift the floor to get to the spare tire well. As well as it stays in place if I roll the cargo area part up at all, even all the way up to the back of the front seat.

It is 1/8" think rubber.

cost - $85 for the pad, and about an hour to make the template, and cut it in. Its my first one, so Im sure It will just get better if I decide to re- or modify it. or if anyone wants me to make them one... Figure $120 plus shipping. (shipping is the killer. the uncut roll was 35$ shipping to my door (nw burbs of chicago)

Has anyone tried the "Ultimate Pet Liner" from Cargoliner?

I need something that covers the floor, sides and back of seats as well as a fold-out bumper cover. Don't ask me why there's carpeting on the back of the Trailhawk's rear seats. Seems idiotic.

I was very tempted to pursue one of these off of Alibaba. Looks really well fitted and available in a variety of colors (like black w/red stitching to match the Trailhawk).

I'm not all that keen on dealing with the overseas hassle, so I think I'm leaning toward the Cavasback.
