Another vote for Clay! I only paid $2100 before the price increased.

Do him and yourself a favor before you buy though (if you are out of state). Call your credit card company before you purchase..If they see a large purchase from out of state, they will lock your card down.

Found some Info on the lifetime warranty that web sites claim is in the small print
1. You are not required to have jeep do all recommend maintenance, but it must have documented records of all work being done.
2. Within 60 days of your 5 year purchase date you must have jeep perform a free inspection, failure to do so voids the warranty

Got my Max Care life when purchased. The dealer matched an on line quote I had printed out.
I do plan on keeping it a long time and its much better not to worry about a repair(s) on a visit and just look at $100 maximum cost.
The dealer does the service, which is basically oil changes and checking the other stuff. Most everything else is life/100,000 miles.
So an inspection is not an issue at 5 years.
Also your Mopar service contract is assigned under your VIN number and shows up when the dealership scans your Cherokee in for service.
If you have a Mopar account with Jeep.com it will show up there also.
Could have saved couple hundred with Clay if I had known about him. But still saved $800 over the deal the dealer was offering.
But the Mopar Service Contract does give you peace of mind even if you may not use all of it.

Now I'm thinking it's 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever you hit first.

Max Care Lifetime Full Coverage Warranty

Here's a copy of what I found... Says 5 years?

Also looking around, on Chrysler warranty com it says towing only good for 7 yr or 100k miles
Then I found links to different forums where others are saying if the repair of the vehicle repair exceeds the current cost of the vehicle they are only liable to refund what's paid for the warranty..I'm on mobile so if ya want links or more info either search
Jeep lifetime warranty small print. Some info was in this web site jeepcherokeeclub

My plan details do list the 7/100k restriction on the towing ...
TRIP INTERRUPTION, FIRST DAY RENTAL/CAR RENTAL ALLOWANCE, TOWING, AND ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE EXPIRE AT 7 YEARS OR 100,000 MILES ON THE ODOMETER, WHICHEVER OCCURS FIRST.
But it lists the end payout as the value of the vehicle if the cost of repair is greater then that, not compared to the price of the plan. Not sure if this is State Specific or not.
IMPORTANT! The maximum benefit amount should a covered component of the Vehicle fail will be THE TOTAL COST OF THE REPAIRS PER VISIT LESS THE DEDUCTIBLE, OR THE CASH VALUE OF THE VEHICLE, WHICHEVER IS LESS! The cash value of the Vehicle will be determined at the time of the covered repair and will be the average retail value as listed in the current NADA Used Car Pricing Guide. If at any time the repair costs for covered component(s) exceed the Vehicle’s cash value, your final Plan benefit will be our payment of the Vehicle’s cash value rather than the repair costs. Plan coverage and benefits will terminate automatically and immediately pursuant to this provision and we will have no further obligations of any kind in respect to the terminated Plan.
Does not mention the 5 year check-up or a 1000,000 mile check-up but it does say that the maintenance schedule that is in the owners manual needs to be followed so that's probably where they'd get you.
YOUR ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: It is your responsibility to properly operate, care for and maintain the Vehicle as prescribed in the owner’s manual supplied by the manufacturer. If you fail to properly operate, care for and maintain the Vehicle as prescribed in the owner’s manual supplied by the manufacturer, we may deny your claim under the Plan. You should retain all maintenance records and receipts to avoid any misunderstanding as to whether or not the maintenance services were performed as required.
Also note that what you attached was for the Chrysler Lifetime Powertrain Warranty which I think is different then the Maxcare that we have.

Don't know why the formatting screwed up but I can't seem to fix it.

The highlighted parts are cut and pastes from my warranty details.
