No 9 Speaker for 2017?

So I noticed on the Jeep website that the option for 9 speaker sound is not available on the regular TH anymore. You have to select the Plus L in order to get the 9 speaker, but what if I don't want leather? I checked with the dealer and it shows the same thing on their build sheets.

Why on earth would they do that?

Normally have new model envy but the more and more that is discovered about the 2017 TH, the more I am glad we bought in 2016.

Yeah, last time I looked, you have to get the L package to get Technology Group.

After looking at Grand Cherokees, I am just grateful the sunroof is still a separate item for Cherokees. It seemed every option package I would want on a GC included the sunroof. I'm just anti-sunroof.

The only thing that is on the 2017 that makes me like it more than my 2016 are the HID standard head lights. I still have my halogen headlights and since I am retired, I don't too much driving at night, but what I have done has been okay. I always use my fog lights too to see what is directly in front of me. My eye sight with glasses is 20-20 and I don't seem to have any problem with on coming lights bothering me. Maybe if I drove a vehicle with the HIDs I might change them quickly. (well-get them changed as I wouldn't be able to do it myself)

Yeah, me too on the sunroof--have had them on several vehicles and never use them My 2015 Patriot has the small sunroof and so far have not opened it other than to make sure it worked when I bought it--11 months old now.

Too bad to hear about non-speaker for 2017 TH. They might had some survey with what people's want/need on a package.
